Patricio Reig

San Juan, Argentina 1959

Patricio Reig is a multifaceted artist who combines diverse technical resources to treat photography not only as a testimonial graphic element, but also as an object, or almost as a spectral presence, which gives the viewer the opportunity to find the nuances that turn the image into a living reflection. His work transpires beyond the photographic paper where it has been trapped, and stimulates the effect of memory and nostalgia, this time intimately related to our most immediate present.

The Argentinean-born artist lives and works between Barcelona and Milan.
